Nicole at Book-Wrym-Knits did this tag, so I thought I’d join in as well. It sounded like fun, and I’m trying to figure out more ways to add content to this blog. (More on that in the future!)

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

I quit books all the time, so there are a lot of books I’ve started but I don’t plan to finish them. The only ones I’ve started that I need to finish are ones I’m actively reading at the moment.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

I always think The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater is a good transition book. It starts during October, ends in November, and has the perfect atmosphere of both autumn and the start of winter. Or maybe I just love it and will have any excuse to read it.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

There are several 2019 releases I didn’t get around to reading that I would like to, but there aren’t any “new” ones that I’m waiting for.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater, The Last Battle by C.S. Lewis, and One of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

Maybe Call Down the Hawk, but I think I’ve already found my favorites for the year.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?

Yes… I made a list of 2020 releases I’d like to read, a list of books I want to (hopefully) read in January, and a list of reading goals for the year as a whole. I like to plan a lot in advance, so the answer is always yes.
