This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Books On My Spring 2019 TBR. I planned to only list new books on my spring TBR, but it was harder than I thought to find ten titles I’m excited to read. I’m a lot more picky this year about what I pick up, so here are just ten books I hope to read this spring.

Wicked Saints by Emily A. Duncan: As I’ve probably said before, I went to college with Emily and I’m excited to finally read her published book. She is continually posting about it over on twitter if you need a teaser before you preorder. Which reminds me… I need to go preorder it!

The Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston: I loved Geekerella. It’s one of my favorite YA contemporary books, so of course I’m excited to read the companion novel, The Princess and the Fangirl.

Cold Day in the Sun by Sara Biren: The world needs more hockey books. This one sounds super adorable and fluffy but also with a feminist twist.

The Devouring Gray by Christine Lynn Herman: This book has been blurbed as Stranger Things meets The Raven Cycle, and honestly, I don’t need anything else to know I’m going to pick this one up.

Summer of a Thousand Pies by Margaret Dilloway: One of my reading goals this year is to read more middle grade. This book caught my eyes and sounds absolutely adorable and fun.

Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff: After reading the Illuminae Files, I’ll basically read anything these two write. This book sounds amazing.

Romanov by Nadine Brandes: I cannot wait for this Anastasia retelling with magic! It sounds amazing and that cover is gorgeous and Nadine is just a wonderful human being.

Somewhere Only We Know by Maurene Goo: This book sounds so freaking cute. I seriously can’t handle it.

Dark Shores by Danielle L. Jensen: I need more pirate books in my life and I need them to be good. This one sounds amazing, so I’m crossing my fingers that it’ll be as epic as that cover is!

TBR books: I have a ton of books I own that I want to read as well. Hopefully, I can get through some them like the Wolves of Mercy Falls series by Maggie Stiefvater, The Weight of Feathers by Ann-Marie McLemore, The Walled City by Ryan Graudin, and the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness.
